I DID A THING! I DID A THING WITH THE DESIGNS!

My parents had this bombshell of a bathroom at their coastal holiday rental:

BEFORE

 Yeah, I know right? It’s all kinds of 80s decor nightmares – pink porcelain, cedar cladding, brass shower, lino spew-tiles. Before you’re violently ill all over your keyboard, I have the antidote!

AFTER

Dad, at first rather tentatively, broached the sensitive topic of getting some direction in redesigning his vomit-inducing holiday bathroom. I, very graciously, took over the project entirely, allowing him little to no input on how I would be spending his money. Unbelievably, I stayed within budget, and I’ve had so much fun watching it all come together.

I present to you, my first ever reno:

Naturally, I look forward to renovating the rest of the holiday house, and our permanent house, and anything else I can get my hands on, because now Dad’s unleashed the beast he’s going to have a pretty crappy time trying to restrain it.
