Kintsugi is the art of repairing broken pottery or ceramics with powdered gold, silver or platinum.
Philosophically, it refers to breakage and repair becoming part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise and cover over. So, basically, the object is made even more gorgeous because of its breakage. What a beautiful concept. And, like, SO cool.
